Update 3/19/2011
Last year, the main concession stand had a major facelift. This year, it's the pit concession stand that will receive some tender lovin' care...Spiker Style!
This project started Friday, the 18th. Some of the pictures are from Saturday.
The concession stand would flood every time it rained. Water would
come down the drive and wash right thru the building. We thought
about a curb, to divert the water, but this seemed to us to be the
right way to fix it.
So a new floor will be poured 12" higher than the old floor.
Then we thought we would tear out the office and move it somewhere,
and use the space for the concession stand.
Now, we are adding on to the building, giving us more room for
storage in the concession stand, as well as a new office and
registration/pay out windows.
